On behalf of our client, a leading global company, which is specialized in the production of industrial motors, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the position of Head of Research & Development (HV Motors) (m/f) based in Berlin.

Position

• Direct and lead a start-up RD center which specialized in
• high-voltage (HV) industrial motors
• Develop standard processes and tools to ensure uniformity of deliverables across projects, identification of best practices in all phases of development and create sustaining specific metrics to ensure compliance and progress
• Introduce a culture of continuous improvement to integrate the group, streamline processes and reduce time to market for the products
• Work with project management to identify project objectives, work scope and priorities
• Develop and track research & development plans and schedules
• Provide guidance and technical instruction to assigned staff members in the area of project design and procedures
• Review all work products for accuracy, completeness and consistency
• Ensure compliance to all internal processes and regulatory guidelines

Profil

• PhD in Electrical and Engineering, or Mechanic
• R&D experience with high-voltage motors
• Management experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
