The organisation
Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Basel-Stadt Switzerland. The company manufactures highly potent API's and is expanding its ADC facilities.
The position
- Manage and run complex ADC bulk drug substance projects for our customers at our site
- Based on customer requirements, evaluate and develop ADC conjugation and purification processes for scale-up to GMP production
- Plan, organize, and participate in all aspects of projects together with ADC development and analytical chemists
- Development and optimization of manufacturing processes
- Evaluate and execute project extensions
- Continuous improvement with regards to current GMP standards and efficiency
- Provide support as ADC subject matter expert with customer audits
Tasks & responsibilities
- ADC Development and Manufacturing Antibody and Protein Conjugation
- Process Design & development
- Process Scale Up
- GMP manufacturing
- High Potency Facility setup and Operation
- Project Management and supervision
Candidate profile
- Completed studies in chemistry or biochemistry (e. g., ETH, Uni). Ph.D. preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Multi-year experience in the preparation of ADCs and bio conjugates
- Multi-year experience in cGMP manufacture in the ADC and bio conjugate field
- Experience in formulation development and interaction with Formulation groups is desirable
- Good teamwork, communication and project management skills
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Solution oriented, willing to also solve problems hands on
- Working knowledge of written and spoken German is desired
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Able to travel occasionally (support of technical discussions / sales)
