The position

For our international client we are looking for a young software sales person with the ambition and drive to build and grow the UK office and who wants to create new business within the fastgrowing area of IDM/IAM. Client is very successful in continental Europe, in UK tremendous upside. Business in UK is present but still has great growth opportunities. We are looking for a salesperson who wants to make his/her second step in Sales (Management)You are experienced in selling software solutions/licences in at least the 25-40 K GBP range. Although you will have a new business focus you will also be able to manage existing accounts. Client also takes care of implementation and consultancy. Knowledge and experience with IAM is preferred but not necessary. Software license sales required. We are looking for a sales person with the new business personality. 

This role has huge career opportunities as the business seeks to grow not only in the UK but internationally.This is a challenging opening for an experienced new business sales representative. Candidate will be responsible for UK sales and marketing, and will be required to develop and implement successful sales. 

You will report to the Company’s SD UK. 

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement a successful sales and marketing strategy
  • Find/create, manage, and close complex software solution deals
  • Manage a range of sales cycles which could vary from 1 month to 1 year depending onthe complexity and size of the order  
  • Build commercial relationships with key partners

Candidate profile

  • Entrepreneurial attitude towards creating and setting up business 
  • Approximately 3 years of selling software solutions
  • Proven track record in new business sales within the IT industry
  • Highly proficient in numerous consultative selling methods, and the ability to use them effectively
  • Living in UK, preferably on travel distance from Birmingham
