Description
Main responsibilities: As responsible for the consultancy team, he/she oversees the development and implementation of security solutions for clients using company products and services and the consultancy offerings and capabilities of the company. Is responsible for the further development and growth of the Information Security & Risk Practice within the area of responsibility. On a daily basis, he/she reviews completed proposals for technical integrity, quantification of risk, value for the customer and strategic direction prior to presentation to customer. On a longer term, matching the security needs within local market with service offering is key for future growth. Performance metrics are: the generated revenues within the region, the achieved growth, the # of billable hours done by the team and the associated profitability, and customer satisfaction.

SCOPE: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities
INTERACTION: Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead. a cooperative effort among members of a project team
SUPERVISION: Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, revenue generation, methods and staffing..
Requirements
What they will be looking: Potentially manage matrix team(s) of security consultants and engineers toward successful project completion.

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or a related field
• Masters degree preferred in Computer Science or related field Minimum of ten years directly related work experience, including at least 3 years in security services management as CSO, CISO or Service Manager:
• At least 3 years experience in managing a team, practice or business unit with P/L responsibility
• Ability to articulate complex security issues in simple business terms
• Ability to analyze business processes, strategy and policies and provide pragmatic security solutions
• Applicable knowledge of:
• Firewalls, HIDS, NIDS and other security components
• Security audits, diagnostics, forensic tools
• Application – and Data Security including advanced authentication methods
• Management tools and procedures
• Compliance & regulations
• Ability to scope and deliver security projects on time and within budget
• Excellent Communicator both written and verbal and has presented to C level
• Proven team leadership and team building experience
• A good network of contacts
• Ability to work as part of a global security team
• Highly client facing
• Fortune 500 experience a plus
• Industry certification(s): CISSP, CISA or CISM desirable
