European Sales and Marketing Director

For one of our clients that operates in the pharmaceutical contract packaging industry, we are looking for an European Sales and Marketing Director. Our client is part of an international healthcare services provider and stock listed.

• Responsible for developing and implementing the Sales and Marketing Strategy for the European countries where our client is active and/or would like to expand to.
• Responsible for strategic partnerships at senior managerial level with major health care players for in-sourcing or out-sourcing packaging services.
• Part of the European Management Team and strategic partner at executive board level.
• Managing the Marketing & Sales team.

Profile 

• Master degree in Business Administration, master in Medical Sciences or other relevant masters’ degree.
• Strong, senior sales professional with an excellent track record in sales, familiar with solution sales and with a pitbull mentality.
• 10-15 years of working experience whereof at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive and strong network on senior managerial level in the European pharmaceutical industry, ideally at a level where out-sourcing partnerships are decided.
• Strategic thinker, strong personality, determined, good business acumen, stakeholder management, builds and maintains client relationships.
• Language skills: fluent in English and German is required. Dutch is considered a strong plus.
