Position
- In charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Customer Service for the company
- Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining a focus on the company?s strategic goals
- Analyzes sales statistics to determine business growth potential
- Establishes performance goals for all sales employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis
- Oversees personnel issues involving Sales and Customer Service
- Develops the strategic sales plan for the territory based on global strategic goals and plans
- Directs the department to achieve objectives established in the company?s strategic plan
- Develops annual sales and customer service budget and regularly monitors and updates to achieve company financial goals
- Coordinates sales operations with all other departments of the company
- Develops, maintains and improves business relations with all customers and strategic partners of the company
- Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the company
- Reviews and proposes distribution changes to maximize brand/category sales and profit potentials
- Senior responsibility for all trade accounts receivables. Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis with his personnel, coordinates with Credit - Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager/Controller
- Member of the company?s management team

- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to identify and negotiate bureaucratic business environments
- Knowledge of political and economic development issues
- Knowledge and experience of operations in emerging markets
- Willingness to travel to support sales team on a regular basis
- Teamplayer
- Bachelor degree in economics
- Language requirements English fluent, German fluent; other languages additional bonus
