Position

  • In charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Customer Service for the company 
  • Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining a focus on the company?s strategic goals 
  • Analyzes sales statistics to determine business growth potential 
  • Establishes performance goals for all sales employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis 
  • Oversees personnel issues involving Sales and Customer Service 
  • Develops the strategic sales plan for the territory based on global strategic goals and plans 
  • Directs the department to achieve objectives established in the company?s strategic plan 
  • Develops annual sales and customer service budget and regularly monitors and updates to achieve company financial goals 
  • Coordinates sales operations with all other departments of the company
  • Develops, maintains and improves business relations with all customers and strategic partners of the company 
  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the company 
  • Reviews and proposes distribution changes to maximize brand/category sales and profit potentials 
  • Senior responsibility for all trade accounts receivables. Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis with his personnel, coordinates with Credit - Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager/Controller
  • Member of the company?s management team

  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Ability to identify and negotiate bureaucratic business environments 
  • Knowledge of political and economic development issues 
  • Knowledge and experience of operations in emerging markets 
  • Willingness to travel to support sales team on a regular basis 
  • Teamplayer 
  • Bachelor degree in economics 
  • Language requirements English fluent, German fluent; other languages additional bonus
