Our client is a leading international provider of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services and solutions, focusing on workspace management, application services and consulting & transformation services.

Job Purpose
Accountable for the strategic direction of the services across multiple major contracts delivered across all services into a strategic client. Overall direct or matrix accountability for growth, revenue and profitability of all services delivered. Responsibility for leading overall services and offering direction for local decisions ensuring the strategic direction of the programme is adhered to. The role is very client focussed and acts as a final escalation point in any dispute. Responsible for engagement with client’s senior management, account teams and procurement with the objective of driving new major contracts.


Accountabilities

Managing the programme process ensuring the successful transition of the engagement team to the delivery readiness team and the delivery operation team to achieve customer satisfaction and operational and financial success.

Managing the activities of the programme team, including technical, contractual, administrative and financial activities, ensuring that the required resources are in place, including the necessary information, reporting and documentation to manage the programme.

Responsible for the cost of delivery, contract compliance, customer projects and SLAs while driving continuous improvement in processes, tools technical designs, methodologies and problem solving, all the while positioning Getronics as the service provider of choice.

Manages the activities of staff, ensuring that they have the required information necessary (such as schedules, procedural documentation etc) to complete the programme.

Farming for extension opportunities within contact framework (grow business by 5-10% with minimal sales help)

Knowledge and Experience

Central and Local Government Understanding

Experience in managing through direct or matrix service all management working on the clients overall contract
Experience within external sales organization
Qualified degree with at least 12 year’s relevant experience, required certification, including experience of managing staff.
Good working knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Profile

The most ideal candidate is currently holding the position of Business Unit Director / Manager with his own P&L responsibility. Experienced with the disciplines Sales / Delivery / Business Legal / F&A / HR.
Someone who, after running an unit, prefers to go back into the field with direct customer contact on a project management base in an international environment.

The candidate needs to have a strong personality. Someone who can say no if necessary and is not a pleaser. A self-starting businessman who has an important share in the results of the Program e.g. Service Revenue of € 25 till €50 M per year.

The candidate must be a hands-on as is responsible for the delivery of his own results. He knows what it is to work in a complex, result driven organisation. He has to find his own way in the complex network of a multinational environment in order to engage (temporary) resources. He must be able to think in solutions, not in problems.

He must have knowledge of and has experience with ICT infrastructure delivery. He has an ICT background
