The position

As an Account Ececutive Commerce you will work as a part of the Software organization within our customer. The Software for this role includes B2B and Commerce solutions. The Account Account Executive will utilize knowledge of industry segment processes and challenges to successfully position and sell the software solutions.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Identify, progress and close complex solution sales with software and services
  • Conduct business focused discovery sessions, presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts
  • Deliver tailored solutions recommendations to meet current and future business requirements
  • Present software solution-oriented messaging/positioning to customers in sales engagements
  • Exhibit credible customer fluency across key customer verticals
  • Be a subject matter expert on solutions, delivering presentations at internal and external events, and support cross-company initiatives and projects
  • Developing account strategies, assessment of account needs and critical sales issues to ensure account satisfaction
  • Research, understand and leverage the software's competitive landscape
  • Coordinate functional response to RFP/RFI demands
  • Participate as an active and key member of cross Account Teams
  • Develop close working relationship with key Business Partners to assist in the positioning and deployment of solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate for this position should have relevant experience and success of selling similar or competing specialist software in the market place. The candidate should also have domain experience with either the solution itself, a similar solution offered by a direct competitor, business partner or System Integrator.

Candidates will already be seasoned professionals with a successful track record as an overachiever and be proficient and comfortable dealing at the C Suite Level with Line of Business Executives of Fortune 500 size Organizations.

Position requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Sales experience in the domain of the software
  • Proven track record of selling to business executives and business analysts
  • Broad familiarity with the competitive landscape of the software
  • Experience crafting business solutions for the key verticals
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to deliver powerful, succinct and convincing presentations at all levels of an organization while exhibiting confidence and business credibility
  • Ability to relate complex client needs to corresponding business solutions
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work and learn independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented team performer with the motivation and skill to drive the sales process
