Human Resources Consultant

The organisation

For the office of our client we are currently looking for a P&O Consultant. The P&O Consultant works within the P&O Department and carries out all personnel management activities in line with business objectives and goals including recruitment, employment conditions, training and career development support.

The position

• Ensure effective and timely staffing of the assigned departments;
• Critically evaluate department staffing and planning in terms of manpower and job roles in the assigned department;
• Support and advise the management and relevant departments on personnel matters;
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation and its employees by ensuring that all policies and/or regulations are adhered to;
• Act as confidant for the personal matters of office personnel;
• Prepare and follow-up on annual evaluations and salary proposals.

 Candidate profile

• HBO / university degree with a minimum 5 years’ relevant P&O experience, preferably in an offshore, marine, technical or industrial environment;
• Excellent organisational skills;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Creative and a good sense of empathy;
• Willingness to work on short-term assignments abroad.
