Head of Process Engineering

The organisation

Our client is a professional (specialty) chemicals and pharmaceutical organization, based in Sankt Gallen Switzerland.

The position

As Head of Process Engineering you will be responsible for process development in our clients chemical production facility.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Improving, updating and maintaining the production processes used for manufacturing of products currently in production as well as products transferred in from R&D into production (Scale-Up)
• Monitoring the production process
• Carrying out in-process control and protocols
• Deputy production manager
• Reporting to operations director
• Collaboration with various departments (e.g. R&D, production, other stakeholders)

Candidate profile

• University degree in Organic Synthesis or Chemical Engineering
• Good German language skills
• Accommodating personality
