Our client is a professional Chemicals and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Switzerland.

As an innovative company in the Pharmaceutical industry, our client is operating on an international level. Our client cooperates with partners worldwide, such as multinational global and niche companies in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries.

The position

Support in achieving sales goals by acquiring and managing projects. Developing and implementing business plans in the regions: DACH, Benelux, Nordics. Keep the Director of Sales and Marketing informed on the development of the market and the competitors.

Tasks & responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager you are responsible for:

  • Project acquisition: generating new business
  • Customer service and support: managing projects, being in charge of the entire customer portfolio.
  • Successful cooperation with global and local Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies in the assigned area.
  • Derive and propose European and local business plans
  • Implementation of business development tactics for products

Candidate profile

As the Business Development Manager you provide:

  • Master's degree, ideally PhD
  • Work experience in the field of custom synthesis combined with a proven track record in business development leadership positions
  • Strong experience with project management / project acquisition and chemical intermediates
  • Fluency in English and German is a must
