Our client is an international market leader and a very dynamic company in the FMCG-industry. The company is one of the largest manufacturers in its market segment and is present in 180 countries with its brand-name products. For the headquarter Central Europe in Mannheim, Germany, we are looking for a Financial Accountant General Ledger (m/f).

Position

• General Ledger account reconciliation
• G/L responsibility for accruals, prepayments, debtors/creditors (non-trade)
• Management of insurances, including relationships with insurers
• Hyperion reporting to Corporate Headquarters - monthly results, quarterly Forecast and annual Plans
• Cash-Management (Clearing)
• Accounting counterpart for Controlling department

Profil

• Certified Accountant or similar qualification
• 4 to 5 years relevant accounting experience in a medium sized company, preferably in the consumer goods or manufacturing sector
• Some experience in practical application of taxation, treasury and legal affairs
• Experience in reporting to overseas headquarters, preferably under UK GAAP/IFRS 
• Good MS Office skills (Excel)
• Fluent in German and English
