Position

The role is the most senior managerial and technical position in the company.

• The appointee will be a member of the Executive Group and as such, will play a major role in developing and implementation business strategy.
• The appointee will also be an integral member of the Global Engineering Staff, offering the opportunity for broad technical contributions and significant career growth.
• The Engineering Director will be responsible for developing the product and technology roadmap for Diesel Systems.
• The Director will also be responsible for ensuring the best practice techniques and processes are utilized in the design, development and validation of products and for implementing key common engineering processes.
• He/she will be responsible for the recruitment, coaching and career development of all technical staff and lead technical centre activities for Diesel systems and components.

Profil

• Technical knowledge of Diesel products AND Diesel products
• Technical competence of Diesel Common Rail products
• Technical knowledge of Dieses Systems manufacturing processes

• Leadership and managerial skills/ People Management
• Natural Leader, Respect of Internal Team, Team Member, Integrity and trust
• Network with Customers / Customer interface skills

• Business and financial understanding for project management
• Strong planning and implementation skills, result oriented, strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Oral and written communication (German speaking would be preferred)
• Ability to work well with others and motivate people to achieve results
