Our client currently has a job opening for a Director UX (m/f).

The Director of User Experience Design will be overall responsible to create and enhance a unique user experience that best serves customers and company. S/he will personally oversee both the Visual and Interaction design teams as well as the user research team.
 

Position

• Responsible for the user experience team and a high quality user experience ensured by the right tools, the right methods and the right talent on board
• Define and enhance collaboration especially with product development and engineering teams
• Employ user-centered design processes to ensure that information is useful and usable
• Understand and diagram relationships between site content or features
• Proven strategic capabilities and the ability to communicate and document ideas and concepts effectively (vision prototypes, mock ups, interaction models etc)
• Strong background in delivering truly customer focused solutions

Profil

• + 10 years experience in the area of UX design or UI design architecture or in a creative design position (with the focus on the B2C market)
• + 5 years experience in a comparable management position
• A bachelor''s degree or equivalent work experience
• Several years experience working with internal development teams and agile software development
• Design experience and a good eye, as well as the ability to collaborate with visual and most importantly, interaction designers
• A strong understanding of business and user requirements and the ability to address and advocate for the end-users experience
• Strong conceptual understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Flash, CSS, XML, etc.)
