Our customer is an international company specialized in transportation systems. For further development of there team we are looking for a Manager Technical Services.

Position

• organise the activities of the 'Technical Services' department
• ensure the timely design, fabrication (or procurement via supply Management) and installation of tools.
• responsible for contract program and material planning
• ensure feedback to engineering regarding the manufacturability of the design in view of improving the efficiency of manufacturing.
• take full responsibility for the building of the first Part for every project and to provide the production with technical support during the start-up of a contract and as long as needed.
• ensure that all necessary process-modifications or improvement requests, coming from production, are dealt with very quickly.
• build reliable databases regarding capital investments and manhours, spent per contract, to compose the technical process-part of future bids.
• analyse and propose action plans to increase efficiency to ensure competitiveness
• Planning (from start-up of a new contract to establish a manufacturing process plan ) and inventory control
   

Profil

• Master/bachelor degree in a technical discipline and/or several years high professional experience and further education.
• Several years of high professional experience in the field of engineering or bid start up.
• Good experiences in bid evaluations.
• Ability to manage engineering changes, process modification requests during the start up of new contracts in production.
• Ability to steer of the continuous information flow to the production department.
• Experiences in effective storekeeping.
• Experiences in the successful handling of a master schedule.
