Our client is an important part of one of the most successful corporations in its sector (EU HQs, Manufacturing Industry). Headquarter Germany is based in the prosperous Frankfurt/RheinMain-Metropolitan Area. To ensure the future growth of its operations we are now recruiting the CFO Germany (m/f).
Position
Major tasks
Area of responsibility:
- The CFO Germany is responsible for leading the finance function in Germany.
- The role holder is responsible for all financial control matters within the area including balance sheet and cash-flow management.
- This is a key role as it is relied upon for the sound financial management of the business, decision support, and the operation of a robust control structure.
- The role holder is required to build strong relationships across the organization. Key interfaces include: Germany and International management team.
The role covers:
- Leadership and development of a team of approximately 15 employees. The team includes - besides other responsibilities - billing management; financial accounting; management reporting & analysis; commercial business support.
- Development of a robust management reporting and internal control process.
- Active participation in business reviews with International Management
- Acting as both a support and challenge process within the management team to ensure that business decisions are based on sound financial and commercial principles.
- Reporting directly to local and international top management the CFO is a key member of the local and international management team.
Profil
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (e.g. CPA, German WP-Exam, etc.) with a minimum of 10 years relevant job-experience, preferably in an international manufacturing corporation
- Experience of leading & developing a professional team
- Experience of internal / external audit
- Ability to understand complexity & pay attention to detail
- Ability to build strong working relationships at a senior level
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of profitability and cash-flow measures and drivers
- Highly developed presentation & communications skills
- Customer and 3rd party partner experience
- Fluent English & German
