Power trader (for a Dutch energy house)

I am looking for an experienced power trader to join a Dutch energy house.

The organisation

Being one of the most innovative energy houses in the Netherlands, my client is looking for experienced power traders.

They are known for their strong team of traders that are foremost trading in power and gas. The team is relatively small allowing every trader to take on its own responsibility and is in fact a prop trader. The trading desk does a lot of cross commodity trading.

Candidate profile

The qualified candidate shall have the following requirements:
(a) a relevant university degree
(b) risk management experience
(c) at least 3 years of (prop) trading experience in power markets
(d) preferably experience in the European power markets
(e) strong analytical skills
(f) strong communication skills

Salary

The salary package is extremely competitive.
