Right now we are looking for a Head of Business Performance Controlling, which is a new configured role in the company, pivotal to help us deliver on our own ambitions and ensuring future growth. 

The position

We are looking for an ambitious head of Business Performance Controlling (BPC) who can lead the department and the organization through a period of change and continual focus on improvement. The head of BPC reports directly to the CFO of the wehkamp group.

As the head of BPC you are the person who drives and supports the decision making in the organization based on good understanding of the performance and its drivers.

On a daily basis you will be working on decision support, P&L and working capital controlling and forecasting, reporting and continually drive improvements in business performance management practices. You will also act as a senior sparring partner for different stakeholders and functional areas.

Tasks & responsibilities

• You are able to provide accurate and timely insights around the impact on the P&L and working capital, both backward looking and forward looking.
• You are able to challenge the different stakeholders in the organization, always with a supportive approach to help the organization as a whole to do better.
• With your excellent knowledge of retail and specifically e-commerce you can help the stakeholders to understand the business drivers and possible alternatives for decisions to be made.
• You will proactive engage with the CFO, the CEO and other members of the management team on business decisions as well as daily business.
• You can lead the change throughout the organization by being the owner and ambassador of business performance management practices.

Candidate profile

• University degree in a relevant field; RC/RA is a distinct advantage
• 7 till 12 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a retail/ecommerce organization
• Strong analytical skills; conceptual skills on board level
• Experience in leading change with excellent interpersonal/leadership skills
• Experienced user of BI tooling and other reporting tools
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, as well as in English
