Our client is one of the leading logistic company of the world and providing a wide range of services in suppy chain management. To build up a new sector we are looking for a corporate category manager MRO asap.

Position

• Built methodology for state of the art MRO sourcing solutions and commercialize offering for 3rd party solutions
• Plan, run and deliver sourcing initiatives and establish a robust supply chain for MRO products
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant supply markets
• Anticipate market evolutions and design, use and share advanced sourcing practices
• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies while meeting the needs of regional and local internal Business Partners
• Establish and manage a business network with global, regional and local functions (Procurement, Business Partners and external customers) that allows identification and realization of spend optimization
• Drive standardization, provide ongoing support to country and corporate stakeholders (procurement, Business Partners and external customers)
• Select, develop and manage best in class supply contracts
• Prepare and lead supplier negotiations
• Monitor ongoing benefits tracking and compliance assessments to achieve optimal competitiveness and cost-savings

Profil

1. Professional Expertise:

• University degree (preferably in business administration I Engineering) or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating large volume, complex, business agreements, excellent level in the area of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations, e.g. power tools, cutting tools, abrasives, electrical products, fasteners, pipes, valves, fittings, power transmission, welding supplies, lubricants, oils, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic components) including direct sourcing
• Solid network of contacts with key suppliers in the industry. S/he is well-recognized and well-known to the providers. Strong and in-depth knowledge of the providers'' strategies, operating modes and profit structures
• >5 years of international sourcing experience for a broad range of MRO products is essential, preferably with a major distributor
• Experience in managing cross-regional/cross-divisional teams
• Experience in leading and managing
• First-hand experience of e-procurement and MRO data analysis tools and methods
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential; German language skills would be advantageous
• Sales skills helpful but not required
