Our client is one of the leading companies in waste management and related services. The company has operations in various European and Central European countries and has ambitious plans for the future. The company is well known for it's innovations and is considered as a trusted partner.

Position Description:

Responsible for the implementation and managing of a centralized supply chain management organization throughout the Pan-European operations. The Supply Chain Manager will operate in a multi-cultural industrial environment and has to be able to communicate at all levels in the organization to create a smooth, reliable and a profitable supply chain operation. He/she will have functional lines with business and production/plant managers. The candidate will report directly to the Executive Chairman.

Profile:

• Relevant university or bachelor degree, preferably with a strong purchasing base and purchasing education
• Proven track record of Supply Chain Management in an international industrial customer oriented environment. 
• Excellent communications skills. 
• Fluently in Dutch, English & French.
• Strong affinity with French language & culture
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Hands on mentality and customer orientation.
• Strong personality but flexible enough to be able to find solutions to issues.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Immunity to stress and capable of managing complexity (range of products, production capabilities, markets served, cultures, service etc).
• Willingness to travel within Europe. With a specific focus on France and Germany.

Conditions:

• € 150.000 to € 200.000 OTE
