Tasks & responsibilities

  • Define vision, strategy, objectives, operational plan and budget for the Gulfstream programs in line with FAE strategic objectives, in order to give direction to the Gulfstream Programs in a way that optimizes growth, cash flow and profitability. 
  • Set-up and manage the individual Gulfstream program teams while maintaining overall program perspective in both the nonrecurring and recurring phase. 
  • Support the account plan of Gulfstream as a the basis for strategy formulation and follow-on operational plans.
  • Be responsible for the proposal management and related governance aspects in order to achieve the required growth within the Gulfstream account. 
  • Organize and ensure the proper organization and processes, in line with Fokker standards, in such a way that Gulfstream’s objectives are achieved inside and outside the program boundaries. 
  • Application of the existing Program management toolset and support the further development of the PM toolset together with the Program Management Office and your peers.
  • Ensure that all activities of the Gulfstream programs comply with Fokker’s  governance model, in order to optimize the business processes and to minimize the risks of legal claims. 
  • Create or contribute to awareness and the promotion of positive attitudes towards major topics throughout the Gulfstream programs.
  • Achieve and maintain the change in organization culture and increase in performance. 

Candidate profile

You are a dynamic, proactive, team oriented and results focused senior program director, for our client Gulfstream, who takes end responsibility for all new and existing (non) recurring programs . You are also the key interface with Gulfstream on the performance of all programs.

You are capable of leading and managing the direction of all Programs for the customer Gulfstream, in line with the strategic and/or operational objectives of  Fokker Aerostructures, in order to optimize the profitability, income and growth of Gulfstream as well as Fokker Aerostructures

You have a proven track record in showing leadership and creating winning teams to achieve successful project delivery in line with the approved business cases for Gulfstream.

You will display the ability to mobilize people behind common goals and motivate your colleagues to achieve success. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills and be a credible and respected professional, internally and externally. 

  • IPMA B/C or internationally recognised equivalent.
  • Minimum 7-10 years working in a similar role in an international environment with experience in a Aerospace product / manufacturing multi-project environment.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate in an international environment over multiple locations.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft tools incl Project.
  • Fully bilingual Dutch & English.
