Job Discription

The senior manager Product Management & Quality is responsible for: 

• Product Management & Quality, this impacts approx €210 million nett sales and €70 million costs of goods by 4 product lines; 
• 9 direct reports and is member of MT Operations; 
• The complete implementation and control of the product portfolio for Trespa International and Trespa North America, and of the conditions restricted to which this portfolio can be delivered; 
• Strategy and control of the portfolio of installation systems for the Trespa panels, and of the conditions restricted to which these systems can be advised to the customers of Trespa International; 
• Definition and execution of control systems to ensure product delivery and advisory within the boundaries of defined portfolios, delivery conditions and ISO quality norms; 
• Correct technical representation of the product portfolio and installation system portfolio in Trespa’s marketing and technical communication and representation; 
• Warrantees based on product performance in the delivery areas. 

The senior manager Product Management & Quality will closely interact with other departments. 

• Marketing;  
• Sales;  
• Trespa Technology Centre;  
• OP&C (operations planning); 
• Operations improvement; 
• Legal. 

The senior manager Product Management & Quality will interact externally mainly with:

• Norm setting bodies;  
• National certification institutes Product test institutes;  
• Audit agencies;  
• Technical advisory and consulting agencies.

Candidate Profile

• Academic background (Academic master degree or an equivalent degree, preferably in a technical discipline ) and has gained relevant experience with product quality in a production environment; 
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a production environment; 
• Experience with quality and product management;  
• A certificate in ISO 14001 or 9001 for internal auditing is a pre. 
   

Skills 

• Curiosity for details, can create transparency while not losing the big picture; 
• Connect day to day issues at a conceptual level to (re-)design processes and procedures where needed; 
• Proven to be able to act as a content leader, and is able to influence his environment outside a hierarchical context;  
• Rigid in execution of processes and procedures.

Salary Indication

Annual base salary indication €100k, max 20% bonus.
