Our client is an international marketing and sales-company for premium products and one of the largest premium spirits company in the world. To support the strong growth of the company we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Commercial Controller (m/f).
Position
- Support and contribute to the Commercial Finance and FP&A team
- Co-ordination of Budgeting and Forecasting processes for Central, Eastern and Northern Europe, including preparation of roll-ups, trends and gap analyses for the Commercial Teams to support resource allocation decisions
- Ensure alignment with corporate deliverables calendar and strive to meet all deadlines highlighted
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Reporting packages
- Work with the regional Controller in Europe to promote a strong control environment across all financial aspects within the region
- Where appropriate, develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors and stakeholders throughout their organisations
- Support monthly reporting process across the European, Middle East and Africa region
- Use the regular planning and reporting of actual results, as well as relationships with the commercial teams, to keep a constant track of the risks and opportunities that face Central, Eastern and Northern Europe
- Review and analyze investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with global profit requirements, taking into account all aspects of pricing, competitor analysis and economic/demographic drivers
- Maintain partnerships with distributors and build upon key relationships
Candidate Profile
- Preferably degree with relevant Accounting qualification
- Strong financial control mentality
- A team player who strives in a challenging and fast moving environment
- Leads by conviction and excellent people manager
- Challenges status quo
- No problems in managing ambiguity
- Excellent commercial skills and attention to detail
- Strong time manager, able to prioritize a diverse workload and achieve deadlines

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills (English mandatory)
- Culturally sensitive attitude and approach to business practices
- IT literate
- Demonstrate a ‘drive for results’ mentality
- Able to influence and partner with the Market and corporate centre Finance and Commercial Teams
