Our client is an international Wholesale Bank, located in Frankfurt and we are looking for an Operations Manager for their fast growing business.

Position

• Ensure that the administration functions performed by the Operations Team are carried out in accurate, timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards and contributing to a high level of client satisfaction
• As a member of the management team provide the management with key operational information and business information to ensure development of the business and management of risk 
• The liasion between other internal banking departments like legal, tax&accounting, regulatory reporting, compliance, IT developments and local IT support
• Responsible for the day to day running of the Operations team (amongst others payment, managemd funds processing and perform the administrative handling of customer requests)
• Responsible for third party vendor management, e.g. payments and managed funds, legal and tax support
• Delivery of financial reporting, statistic data and business support information
• Budget management for operational areas 
• System owner of the Core Banking system for the business
• Responsible for the implementation of system changes, release management and the implementation of new initiatives from an operational perspective in accordance with the relevant policies
• Responsible that systems, processes and working instruction in the operations area maintain up to date and compliant with the relevant regulations
• Fulfill the role of the compliance officer (10%of time)

Profil

• Operational management experience in transactional banking is essential; experience in retail banking products (deposit and managed funds) is desirable
• Solid knowledge of the regulatory environment and operational environment in Germany
• Strong knowledge of local banking processes, IT and operations and experience in local market preferred
• Sound disciplines in project management, system release management
• Experience in the implementations of new core banking and internet banking systems and upgrade to existing systems 
• Extensive experience in an Administration or Operations area including management of operational teams
• Ability to cope with stressful situations and to set priorities
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Fluent in English and German
