Managing Director

Client

Our client, a private equity fund is looking for an experienced Managing Director to lead their team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and closing approved deals.
• Responsible for overall evaluation of investment opportunities, market conditions and presentations to partners.
• Liaise with advisors, operating partners and third-party consultants to source and review acquisition opportunities.
• Coordinate all internal approval memoranda, financial modeling and analyses.

Requirements:

• Graduate from top academic program with solid record (finance backgrounds - a plus) MBA preferred
• 10+ years of relevant real estate, investment banking, management consulting or buy-side experience from a leading firm
• Strong quantitative skill set: accounting, quantitative and financial modeling
• Strong written and communication skills: ability to develop clear, concise written analyses on a variety of companies and industries and projects
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ideal candidate should have a background in the real estate sector
• Proficient in MS Office applications and working knowledge of databases and reference sources
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong network of contacts in industry
• Strong understanding of underwriting procedures and risk control in China
• Strong understanding of execution and closing procedures for all types of real estate transactions
