Our client is a service company and world market leader in his segment. In order to secure further growth of the business we are currently looking for the Corporate Procurement department for its headquarter in North Rhine-Westaflia for a qualified and international experienced Categor Manager Packaing (m/f).

Position

• Responsible for adapting regional sourcing strategies for Packaging to conform the global strategy, while meeting the needs of regional and local business partners
• Analyze regional and local business partner requirements, cooperating with local procurement organizations
• Drive the standardization of processes and continual cost reduction
• Development of the regional virtual category team

Profil

• Completed university studies in economics or engineering
• At least 3-5 years professional experience in a strategic sourcing, and at least two years managing international virtual teams in the logistics
• Experience in Supply Chain project and process management
• Very good knowledge of the standard software MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English mandatory; ideally, advanced level in other foreign languages
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities
• Teamwork and communication abilities
