Our client is a global pharmaceutical company that investigates, develops and produces for a variety of healthcare areas. For one of our customer's divisions in Western Europe we are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Head of Logistics (m/f)

Position

• As "Head of Logistics" you take the responsibility for the management and leadership of warehousing and distribution of the global activities of the specific division
• Direct Management of the Distribution area including all teams - shipping and delivering - maintaining a close partnership with logistics provider to enhance service, quality and costs
• You provide the functional leadership to the warehousing activities and ensure that all processes are efficient and effective
• Process management and optimization of the existing third party warehouse networks are key responsibilities in this function
• Functional leadership to technical aspects of Logistics to ensure a quality standards and performance
• You are a key member of the Global Supply Chain Management Team and play a full part of strategic development

Profil

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related Business field.?
• At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution with cold chain experience
• Experience working within cross functional teams and in multicultural environments
• Good knowledge and experience with cGMP
• Managerial experience and knowledge of shipping activities with major logistics provider
• Previous experience as Team leader with the ability to execute performance management for the individual team members?
• Excellent interpersonal skills as relationship builder and ability to communicate at every level of the company?
• Specific knowledge of SAP
• Willingness to travel widely
