The organisation

Forbo Flooring Systems – a division of the Swiss Forbo Group – is a leading player in the global resilient floor coverings market. The division is world market leader in environmentally friendly linoleum floor coverings with a 60% market share. With sales of more than 500 M Euro it employs 3,000 people with sales and marketing activities in over 29 countries globally and 13 production sites in Europe.

The position

Providing customers around the world with well presented contemporary samples of all our products is an important service to customers and essential support for our sales effort. The production and distribution of samples is logistically complex and incurs very significant cost. Our current arrangements for managing the sample process have evolved with the business; responsibility and resources are spread over a number of functions. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President Supply Chain & Resilient Operations, Paul de Ruiter.

Candidate profile

We therefore seek an individual to take responsibility for all sampling across the division who will identify and implement the optimum organisation and processes that will deliver high quality service to customers at optimum cost.

Candidates should be of graduate caliber, be fluent in English with ideally one other European language and have experience of customer relations, logistics, information systems and leading major change projects. They will have strong influencing skills at all levels.
