This incubator will support its clients - mainly world famous industry leaders from different sectors - in creating and executing brand new business ideas in the area of the new digital economy. For this purpose, we are building up an interdisciplinary team of technology experts, who can make business dreams come true through groundbreaking digital innovation.

In this context, we are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer (m/f) in Berlin to execute projects from concept to completion.

The position

• Create start-up ideas/ventures with the worlds largest companies
• Contribute to finding, defining and building innovative user experiences, that address primary user as well as business goals
• Add user-experience and graphic-design methodologies to the company's collaborative interdiscplinary problem solving teams
• Lead end to end design of large-scale projects that focus on a user-centered design approach
• Lead/contribute on Primary/Secondary Research, Trend Analysis, Conceptual Ideation, Digital Prototypes and UX/UI Specifications
• Contribute to the firm's thought leadership in UX/UI design approaches and strategic innovation best practices

Candidate profile

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Graphic Design/Transmedia Design/Industrial Design/Web Design/Human Factors/HCI/Visual arts
• Professional experience in designing and documenting user experiences (UX/UI / Graphic Design / Transmedia Design)
• Deep knowledge of visual design theory (i.e. typography, color theory, composition, iconography, etc.)
• Experience in analog visual communication skills (i.e. sketching)
• Experience with the following tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Fireworks) Balsamiq, Omnigraffle
• Ideally knowledge of open-source transmedia toolkits (e.g. Arduinos, sensors, effectors, etc.) and an ability to develop experiments and prototype
• Self-motivated personality, innovative, creative, passionate about new ideas, implementation oriented, solution oriented, flexible, teamplayer, ability to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging fast paced environment.
