Our client is one of the largest companies in the world operating successfully in more than 25 countries. For a high-tec business unit with its German Headquarter in the greater cologne region we are looking to recruit an ambitious Manager FP&A.

Position

• Manage and consolidate planning cycle processes including developing Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly forecasts
• Lead month end closing processes and post-closing review process, ensuring accurate and timely execution. Owner of data warehouse accuracy
• Analyze data for reasonableness & review variances by considering sources, current business activities and historical trends prior to releasing information to business stakeholders
• Drive profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics, while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending and driving actions
• Publish weekly/monthly order, sales, contribution margin and business metrics results with neccessary comparisons
• Support commercial team in ensuring processes and controls in place e.g. manage price
• Drive standardization and process improvement across business, leveraging digitization
• Performing ad hoc analysis (e.g. FX analysis), and supporting CFO and other functional leaders in various analysis (e.g. sales force effectiveness analysis)
• Manage and drive base cost analysis

Profil

• Bachelor''s degree in Finance or Business
• FMP and/or CAS experience is considered an advantage
• Minimum 5-7yrs of Finance experience
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to see the details as well as the big picture
• Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information to all levels of the organization - both finance and operations
• Proven ability to lead and influence others, including direct reports, peers and senior management
• Ability to work under pressure, handle deadlines and multiple tasks/priorities
• Excellent PC skills, experience with Microsoft office and financial systems COGNOS desirable
• Fluent in English
