We are looking for a

International Head of Credit & Collections

The role will report into the Finance Director of the company where you will manage a large international team across different locations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring total portfolio of customers
• Structuring major account deals
• Defining and implementing credit policy
• Member of International Finance management team
• 3 direct reports
• Managing various projects and providing consultancy in credit risk management area.
• Work cooperatively with senior management
• Monitor and report progress versus budgets on a regular basis
• Maintain and create ‘best practice’ models to support the business development and decision making

Ideal candidate profile

• 8 years minimum of experience in a senior management position ( credit control/ ssc)
• Business administration degree ( HBO+) preferred
• Proven track record in people management roles
• Is very business driven and an entrepreneurial, multicultural mindset
• Excellent knowledge of systems
• Very detail oriented and hands-on if needed
• Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines; comfortable working in a quick turnaround environment while maintaining accuracy
• Able to adjust to a very rapidly evolving environment
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
• Strong team-working skills
• Organized, proactive and results oriented
• Experience leading a team desired
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable
• Ability to travel if required

• Proven ability of working with various cultures and comfortable with international ways of working
• Able to adapt plans, strategies and processes in ways suited to local cultures and customs
• Well organized with a disciplined approach to evaluating priorities in a fast changing environment
• Outstanding administration skills with the ability to review and improve systems and procedures with the emphasis on efficiency avoiding bureaucracy
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and excellent command of English
