Head of Market Risk

For an investment bank with a world-class reputation FinanceSearch is currently searching for a Head of Market Risk Management to lead the team of 5 on the trading floor.

Profiel kandidaat

He or she will manage the Market Risk department as a hands-on manager. Within this capacity he or she will analyze, monitor and control the Global Financial Markets activities in the Netherlands with main areas of attention being Treasury management, Position Management (fx, money market, capital markets in Euros) and Portfolio Management (all assets). For global financial market activities he or she will build an integrated risk management framework, together with the Credit Risk department. The risk manager will also execute the implementation of policies within Market Risk and advise on improvements or amendments to existing policies, procedures, methodologies and measurements.

Successful candidates should have at least 5 years professional experience within financial markets and have experience with market risk management. He or she has strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication skills, a strategic mind and the ability to drive people.
