Position

The Head of Analytics will be responsible for the Analytics P/L & Balance Sheet and AuM&Sales teams as well as Analytics Competitor Research with a direct reporting line into CFO Global Retail & Traditional AM Europe

The Germany based Analytics teams have to ensure a complete, accurate and stable data base and are responsible for analyses and ad-hoc reporting tasks for Global Retail and the traditional Asset Management business ( Institutional and Insurance) in Europe.

The resource will manage the teams and has to ensure high quality service in

  • preparation of global distribution partner, client and product profitability analyses
  • analyses and comment on global development of AuM and Flows as well as the revenue impact coming along with that for senior management of Global Retail, Institutional/ Insurance Europe
  • global revenue and cost analyses, preparation of efficiency analyses and support of management reviews for various business divisions and legal entities
  • Support and further enhancement of VBM Reporting incl. regional roll out
  • preparation of various strategic analyses and reports incl. recommendations (eg. Global Client/Product Profitability Rankings,
  • Global Key Account Reports, Management Committees) for Global Retail, Institutional/ Insurance Europe to support senior management
  • Steering of the Planning and Forecasting process for Global Retail and Institutional/Insurance Europe

The Head of Analytics will prioritize ad-hoc reporting/ analyses requests and define strategic business activities with the Finance
Directors/Managers to steadily expand and improve service portfolio and quality.
In addition he/she will liaise with key stakeholders and build up strong, cooperative and trustful relationships.

Profil

  • relevant working experience in the Finance Industry or a similar multinational company or consulting background
  • Graduate degree (preferred in economics BWL/VWL or business informatics or similar) 
  • Strong background in Asset Management business
  • Excellent German and English skills both oral and written
  • Excellent analytical skills including the structuring of complex topics coupled with problem solving capabilities 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Track record in people management
  • Global mind-set
  • Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
  • Proactive, self-contained and efficient working 
  • Team player
