The organization

Our client is the world leader in the manufacturing of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry.

The Director Control Sourcing Management (SCM) reports to the Senior Director Operations Control and with a dotted line to the Senior Vice President Sourcing Management. The Director Control SCM plays an integral role in the worldwide SCM management team.

The role

The Director Control Sourcing is expected to play an integral role in the SCM management team. Within the management team he/she is responsible to define the financial strategy as well as an implementation process, including ownership assignments and detailed ‘bucketing” of the defined action, including monitoring and reporting of progress. Securing execution through cross-sector alignment and managing virtual teams is a key requirement in this job.

Manage the Sourcing organization from a financial / controlling point of view and ensure that decent business controls are in place.
 
Main responsibilities

• Financial planning and reporting. Preparation of financial information for management decision making
• Supporting Sourcing Management and adding value to the business via analyzing   and reporting about the actual and expected situation including risks and opportunities.
• Next to this drive the business planning/forecasting process in particular in determining budgets/targets and monitoring and helping in the realization of the targets.
• Focus on identifying, supporting and guiding sourcing decisions.
• Structuring towards an embedded approach on taking sourcing decisions both on parts as well as development/support of business cases.
• Act as a business partner towards the Senior Director Strategic Sourcing.

The candidate

• The candidate will have an academic degree. An MBA or EMFC education would be considered as a plus. 
• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in finance and administration in a multinational /international operating company of which at least a couple of years as part of a management team with an own business responsibility.
• Experience in one or more area's covering logistics/sourcing environment/new business/outsourcing decisions.
• Proven leadership skills in leading a department.
• Excellent analytical, consultancy and social skills.
• Flexible, pro active and communicative personality who is able to act as a professional business partner in a highly demanding and very busy technology environment.
• Strong drive with a hands-on, structured, accurate and result oriented working style.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and convince people.
• A strategic mindset while having the ability to translate strategy into actionable objectives (short, medium and long-term).
• Team player with a flexible & pro-active attitude
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written.
