Our client is an international manufacturing company and is present throughout the globe. Germany is seeking to fill the role the above mentioned position asap.

Position

• Drive the costing vision and expectation to the extended organization
• To be the regional voice of costing, to lead down, across and up the organization which implies to communicate and collaborate with a global team
• Create a clear vision for the team in line with global and regional needs.
• To challenge issues as they (or before they) develop within the organization
• Review and evaluate reasonableness of product costs over the breadth of all products
• To clearly set the expectations, inside and outside of your direct reports
• Leading annual rate development for all commodities in region
• Assure use and compliance of procedures and tools
• Facilitate quote review meetings to provide transparency of cost assumptions.
• Support regional projects and corporate initiatives
• Summarize data to decision points
• Presentations to leadership
• Evaluate, coach and develop team members.
   

Profil

• University Degree (Finance, Business, or Industrial Engineering desired)
• 5-10 years experience in finance
• Several years of production experience, ideally automotive or process related environment
• Leadership experience in a challenging corporate environment a must
• Experience in the Automotive Industry, seating, interiors, or electronics is a plus
• Fluent German, fluent English, additional language skills are a benefit
• Good computer skills, i.e., MS Office, especially Excel
• Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills, however being strong leader
• Occasional travel required
