SE Blades Technology is a division of Suzlon Energy Ltd. We specialize in the development and design, including production design, of rotor blades for Suzlon wind turbines.

Worldwide, we employ 2,500 people in the Business unit Blades including R&D, technical product design, production, engineering, tooling, serial production of blades and in worldwide service and maintenance of our products.

The position

In this position you will head, lead, direct and control the team of 3 (senior) project managers. You will be the overall process owner for the various projects in SBT to ensure alignment in SBT project initiation, planning, execution and reporting.

The PMO (Project Management Office) will be professionalized by you and when issues occur during the introduction of new PMO/Project Management processes and procedures. You will support in further development towards an optimal global project management office and project management. This requires you implement structured processes, while at the same time being able to respond adequately to unforeseen changes.

Because you have a birds-eye view, you coordinate and merge Project Portfolios throughout the organization in order to connect knowledge and processes, making project management more effective. To keep track of all the running and upcoming projects you conduct regular Project Portfolio meetings with Portfolio Board and overall progress meetings with management and project managers.

Leading and coaching the (senior) project managers, you will ensure professional and complete project planning (scope, schedule, cost). If necessary you will perform project management activities yourself in NPD and Technology Projects (i.e. acts as Senior Project Manager).

Candidate profile

• University degree in business or technology
• Between 7 to 10 years of relevant working experience in international project management environment
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Strong on strategic /tactical level on order to make long term decisions
• Ability to bring structure while working in an ad-hoc unstructured environment
• Willingness to travel and work abroad up to 30% of time
• PMP certified
